Charles Pigue and Stewart Orr Hospitalized after Missouri 30 Crash in Jefferson County
Charles Pigue, Stewart Orr Hurt in 2-Vehicle Crash on MO-30 in Jefferson County
Jefferson County, Missouri (February 21, 2018) – Two Hillsboro residents were taken to hospitals after being involved in a two-vehicle accident in Jefferson County on Tuesday morning, according to the state patrol.
The crash happened at around 7:27 a.m. Tuesday, February 20, on Missouri 30 at Scenic View Lane.
Troopers reported that a northbound 2001 Toyota Corolla failed to yield to eastbound traffic at the intersection of Missouri 30 and Scenic View Lane.
An eastbound Dodge Durango driven by Stewart W. Orr, 30, of Hillsboro, struck the left rear of the Toyota, which was being driven by David C. Pigue, 30, of Hillsboro.
Orr and a passenger in the Toyota, identified as Charles M. Pigue, 43, also of Hillsboro, were both transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center with moderate injuries.
David Pigue was not hospitalized as he was not hurt.
Troopers said the three had their seatbelts on at the time of the crash.
