Charles Patterson and Two Others Injured in St. Charles County Car Collision on MO-94
Charles Patterson, Tricia Allen and Erica Johnson Injured in 5-Vehicle Wreck on MO-94 in St. Charles County
St. Charles County, Missouri (February 1, 2018) – Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday morning in St. Charles County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident took place shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, on westbound Missouri 94 east of Florence Drive.
Troopers said a 2017 Honda pilot traveling westbound on MO-94 made a stop for traffic ahead and was rear-ended by a 2002 Ford Escape.
As the Honda began to move, a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu driven behind the Ford stopped. This made a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe traveling behind the Malibu to slow down and was rear-ended by a 2017 Ford Focus.
The impact of the crash forced the Hyundai to strike the back of the Chevrolet, which in turn crashed into the rear of the Ford Escape.
The driver of the Hyundai, Charles R. Patterson, 45, of Weldon Spring, was not wearing a safety belt and suffered minor injuries.
The Chevrolet driver, Tricia A. Allen, 48, of St. Peters, was treated for minor injuries.
Erica A. Johnson, 32, of Lake St. Louis, was the driver of the Ford Escape and had her seatbelt on. She was also treated for minor injuries.
Donna K. Singleton, 50, of Overland Park, Ks. and Carmen A. Wilson, 43, of St. Charles were the drivers of the Ford Focus and the Honda and were not injured in the crash.
