Cary Man Hospitalized in 2-Car Crash at Cuba Road and Route 14 in Lake Barrington
Lake Barrington, Illinois (March 7, 2018) – A Cary man was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday in Lake Barrington, authorities said.
The accident occurred at around 5:50 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, at the intersection of Cuba Road and Route 14.
According to authorities, a 76-year-old Barrington Hills man was driving a 2017 Lexus SUV east on Cuba Road when he attempted to cross Route 14 at the intersection and hit a 2006 Mercedes-Benz SUV driven by the 43-year-old Cary man.
Both drivers were extricated from their cars by the crew, as per the report.
The Cary man suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington for treatment, authorities said.
An investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
