Driver Injured in St. Louis County Car Crash on Interstate 70
St. Louis County, Missouri (January 15, 2018) – A driver was injured early Thursday afternoon when she lost control and collided with a second vehicle in St. Louis County.
According to MSHP, the incident took place at around 12:55 p.m. Thursday, January 11, on Interstate 70 west of Interstate 270.
A 2002 Hyundai XG350 being driven by Brittany N. Lumpkins, 28, of Saint Peters, was traveling westbound on I-70 when she lost control and struck the left side of a westbound 2017 Kia Sorento that was being driven by Richard C. Robertson, 62, of Fay, Georgia.
Lumpkins suffered minor injuries and was transported by Pattonville Fire and Ambulance to SSM Health Depaul.
Robertson was unhurt in the crash.
Troopers said both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
