Halltown, Missouri (December 27, 2017) – A man was killed and his wife injured after a vehicle got detached from a trailer on Interstate 44 causing a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on I-44 near the Halltown exit ramp on Tuesday, December 26.

Teubner was pronounced dead at the scene.

His passenger, Megan Teubner, 42, was rushed to a hospital with moderate injuries.

Terry Roberts, 69, of Elkland was identified as the driver of the truck pulling the fifth wheel trailer with the Jeep.
