Brenda Hemley and Christopher Gestring Hurt in 3-Vehicle Crash on MO-53 in Butler County
Butler County, Missouri (January 31, 2018) – Two drivers were injured in a collision involving three vehicles on Tuesday evening In Butler County, State Troopers said.
The incident took place at around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, on Missouri 53 at Poplar Bluff city limits.
Troopers said a 2015 Hyundai Elantra driven by Brenda L. Hemley, 55, of Campbell, was traveling northbound on Missouri 53 when it rear-ended a 2008 Saturn View, driven by Christopher A. Gestring, 36, of Poplar Bluff.
The impact pushed the Saturn into the back of a 2005 Ford F-150 driven by Gary W. Wilkerson, 65, of also of Poplar Bluff.
Hemley sustained moderate injuries and Gestring suffered minor. They were both taken to Poplar Bluff Regional.
Wilkerson was unhurt.
Troopers said the three drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
