Ms. Bethany Ferguson, 23, of St. James, MO, sustained serious injuries and Mr. Brandt Wilson, 40, also of St. James, MO, sustained moderate injuries as a result of an accident that occurred in Phelps County. On May 14th at approximately 9:15 pm on I-44 eastbound at mile marker 181.2, Ms. Ferguson’s vehicle became involved in the accident when it traveled off the right side of the roadway, causing it to overturn, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report. Both Ms. Ferguson and Mr. Wilson were ejected from the vehicle when it overturned. Both parties were transported via EMS to a nearby hospital to be treated for their injuries.
