Greene County, Missouri (January 26, 2018) – Two women were hospitalized on Tuesday morning after an accident whereby their car was rear-ended by another vehicle in Greene County, according to MSHP.

The crash occurred at around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, on U.S. 160, about five miles north of Springfield.

According to troopers, 51-year-old Andrea M. Tindle of Springfield was the driver of a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu traveling southbound on U.S. 160 when it was struck on its rear by a 2009 Pontiac G6 being driven by 17-year-old Hannah N. Hampton of Willard.

Tindle was transported to Mercy Springfield by Ems with moderate injuries.

Her passenger, Madysin Diller-Witt, 13, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Springfield.

Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed from the scene.
