Alexa Fisk, Jell Heath and Three Others Injured in St. Francois County Crash on Route N

St. Francois County, Missouri (January 14, 2018) – Five people were on Saturday afternoon injured in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in St. Francois County, according to MSHP.

The crash occurred at around 2:20 p.m. Saturday, January 13, on Route N at Lake Avalon Road.

Troopers said Mary E. Hutchison, 67, of Salem was sitting in a 2013 Nissan Juke at a stop sign at the intersection when she failed to yield and entered into the path of a 2000 Chevrolet Express driven by Judy P. Renshaw, 66, of Doe Run.

The front of the Chevrolet slammed into the driver’s side of the Nissan.

Hutchison and two of her passengers, Megan N. Heath, 32, and 1-year-old Jell Heath both of Salem, were transported to Parkland Health Center in South Farmington with minor injuries.

A third passenger in the Nissan, Alexa Fisk, 6, also of Salem, was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.

Renshaw was treated for minor injuries at Parkland Health.

Buckley’s Towing transported both vehicles from the scene.
