Aaron Craven and Shawnay Enyart injured in Newton County Rear-End Crash on Highway 43

Newton County, Missouri (February 27, 2018) – Two people were injured when a vehicle rear-ended another on Sunday afternoon in Newton County, according to MSHP.

The wreck occurred at around 3:50 p.m. Sunday, February 25, on Highway 43, about three miles south of Joplin.

A 2012 Kia Rio that was being driven by Seth G. Shettlesworth, 21, of Miami, Ok., was heading north on Highway 43 when he slammed into the back of a 1999 Ford Taurus, driven by Aaron A. Craven, 17, of Seneca.

Craven and a passenger in the Kia, Shawnay N. Enyart, 18, of Wyandotte, Ok., were both treated for minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported.
