On Wednesday, May 15, Charles Winfiel, and Jean and Ruth Baczkowski, were injured in a multi-car accident on U.S. 54 east of Nevada, MO. The crash occurred as Mr. Winfiel, 83, of Eldorado Springs, attempted to turn into a private driveway and was struck by Ms. Baczkowski, 65, of Valley Center, Kansas. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, all three suffered injury. The Baczkowski’s took the brunt of the accident and they were transported to Freeman West Hospital by EMS. Mr. Winfiel suffered minor injuries and he was taken by private car for further observation and treatment.
