The Legal Claims

Missouri offers a broad system of personal injury laws meant to protect parties who are injured through the fault of another. Here, depending on a determination of fault, the person seeking compensation will be entitled to payment for any lost wages, pain and suffering, and any medical bills incurred as a result of the accident that are not also a result of their own negligence.

Further, the family of Ms. Davidson may have a wrongful death claim that will allow them to recover the losses she suffered before she passed, as well as their own loss of society and companionship with the deceased.
