At approximately 10:30 am on Saturday, May 12, two passengers were injured in a traffic accident at the intersection of Emerald and Dolphin streets, just east of Ethel. The accident began when a suburban operated by Kimberly Gaul, 17, of New Cambria, failed to yield at the intersection and struck a sedan operated by Brody Preston, 21, of Callao. Neither driver was injured, though two of Mr. Preston’s passengers were hurt. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Michelle Delmater, 23, Callao, and Darin Baumgartner, 23, also of Callao, both suffered moderately serious injuries and were transported to area hospitals for treatment and further observation. Neither of the parties who were injured had their safety belts on at the time of the accident.

A traffic accident can be an extremely traumatic event. We at the law offices of Kevin J. Roach wish all of the parties a speedy and thorough recovery.
