At approximately 9 pm on May 6th, Susano Alvidrez-Gonzales, Thomas Roach, and Trevor Widebrook were all injured in a car accident on Route MM 5 miles west of Hannibal. The accident occurred when Ms. Alvidrez-Gonzales, 38, Park Hills, turned off County Road 418 and onto Route MM. She was struck mid-turn by Mr. Garret Quinlin, 19, of Hannibal. Mr. Quinlin was checked out at the scene and released. His two passengers, Mr. Roach, 18, Canton, and Mr. Widebrook, 16, also of Hannibal, were not so fortunate. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mr. Roach suffered severe injuries, with Ms. Alvidrez-Gonzales and Mr. Widebrook suffering “moderate” injuries. All parties were transported to the Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.
