35-Year-Old Gurnee Woman Injured in Crash with Racine County Snowplow on Loomis Road

Racine County, Illinois (January 18, 2018) – A 35-year-old woman was airlifted to a hospital after a collision involving a snowplow in Racine County.

The accident occurred at around 3:20 a.m. Saturday, December 30 on Loomis Road near Thode Drive.

A Gurnee woman was driving an SUV northbound in the southbound side of Loomis Road when she collided head-on with a snowplow.

The woman was extricated and flown to Froedtert Hospital with unknown injuries.

The woman was taken into custody for suspected drunk-driving and traveling in the wrong lane.

The man driving the snowplow was unhurt in the crash.
