2 Drivers, 1 Passenger Hurt in Kansas City Two-Car Crash at Blue Parkway and 55th Street
Kansas City, Missouri (December 31, 2017) – Two drivers and a passenger were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Blue Parkway on Saturday, as per a report.
The crash happened at about 2:42 p.m. Saturday, December 30, in the area of Blue Parkway and 55th Street.
According to a report, a black Honda Civic was driven down 55th Street by a female driver when the driver failed to yield and pulled onto Blue Parkway and was then struck on the driver’s sided by a blue or silver Chevrolet Cheyenne pickup driven northwest on Blue Parkway.
The 55th Street has a stop sign, and it remained unclear if the driver of the Honda stopped at the stop sign, a report said.
The driver and a passenger in the Honda both suffered critical, life-threatening injuries while the driver of the pickup sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the collision, as per a report
The crash resulted in a closure of Blue Parkway around two hours.
