2 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-80 west of Briggs Street in Joliet
Joliet, Illinois (January 31, 2018) – Two People were injured in a multi-vehicle collision Tuesday morning in Joliet, according to a local news source.
The crash took place at around 5:30 a.m. Jan. 30, on I-80, approximately a quarter-mile west of Briggs Street, officials said.
Police and fire officials responded to the crash involving four vehicles. All involved vehicles sustained front-end damage, and one of the vehicles was found a ditch, according to the authorities.
Five people were involved in the crash, but only two were hospitalized at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.
Interstate 80 was blocked for more than an hour as crews cleaned up debris which was all over the scene.
The crash remained under investigation.
