2 Hit and Injured by Car on Clear Lake Avenue in Springfield
Springfield, Illinois (March 2, 2018) – Two pedestrians were hospitalized after they were struck by a car on Thursday evening in Springfield.
The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 1, in the 2200 block of Clear Lake Avenue.
According to police, a man and a woman were walking on the roadway when they were struck by a vehicle.
The woman sustained injuries serious injuries including broken bones in her leg. She alongside the man was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported in the wreck.
The auto-pedestrian accident remained under investigation.
