1 Killed and 6 Injured in Columbia Crash on Route 3
Columbia, Illinois (February 27, 2018) –A collision involving two vehicles in Columbia Tuesday afternoon left one person dead and six others with injuries, police said.
The deadly crash happened at around 12:30 p.m. on Route 3 at Veterans Memorial Parkway.
The report said the crash involved a dump truck and an SUV.
One person died as a result of the collision, police said.
Six children were injured in the collision, police said. The severity of the injuries sustained was not stated.
The northbound lanes were shut during an investigation, as per the report.
