1 Killed, 2 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash in Champaign
Champaign, Illinois (March 2, 2018) – According to a local news source, a 29-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Champaign on Friday morning.
The fatal collision occurred on IL Route 47 at Champaign County Road 3200 N near US Route 136.
According to a report by the Illinois State Police, a car driven by a female driver was passing another vehicle in a no-passing zone when it collided with another vehicle operated by the man.
The man died at the scene.
The female driver alongside her passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to an area hospital.
No other information was provided.
The incident remained under investigation.
