1 Killed, 1 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on I-270 in Florissant

Florissant, Missouri (March 5, 2018) – One person was killed, and another injured following a two-vehicle fiery collision Saturday afternoon in North County near Florissant, according to Missouri Highway Patrol.

The deadly crash took place at around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, in the eastbound lanes of I-270 near Washington Street and N. Elizabeth Avenue.

The preliminary investigation report stated that the crash was as a result of a wrong-way driver.

The eastbound lanes of the interstate were closed down and reportedly reopened at around 5 a.m.

The troopers said one person was killed and another remained in critical condition as a result of the crash.

Other details regarding the accident were not immediately provided.
